Another veteran slot receiver that could be released that could make sense for the Buffalo Bills is Adam Thielen. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, there is a “real possibility” that the Minnesota Vikings release Adam Thielen prior to the start of free agency.

At one time, Adam Thielen was considered one of the best slot receivers in the NFL and made the Pro Bowl in back-to-back seasons in 2017 and 2018. While he hasn’t reached that level recently, he has still been productive and in the past three seasons has averaged 70 receptions, 789 receiving yards, and 10 receiving touchdowns per season.

Thielen will be turning 33 years old before the season and has dealt with some injuries recently but if the Buffalo Bills want to add a veteran to potentially pair with a rookie draft pick, this could make a lot of sense for the offense.
