What positions should the Buffalo Bills address in free agency instead of in the NFL Draft?

The start of free agency is only about a week away for the Buffalo Bills and the rest of the NFL. It is going to be an interesting few weeks as the Bills will try to improve the roster but also address some potential holes that are created with Jordan Poyer and Tremaine Edmunds likely leaving to join new teams for 2023.

For general manager Brandon Beane, there are essentially two key stages of the offseason that gives him the chance to improve the roster to hopefully compete for a Lombardi Trophy with free agency and the NFL Draft. While teams always want to add as much talent as possible, there is a level of strategy that comes into play in terms of how they approach this.

The depth at positions both in free agency and the NFL Draft is a factor but how the team’s current roster is constructed also has to be taken into account. With that in mind, these are three positions that the Buffalo Bills should be looking to address with a veteran from free agency.
