Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers will have some decisions to make at the running back position this offseason as D’Onta Foreman is set to be a free agent. Foreman, who was a third round pick by the Houston Texans in the 2017 NFL Draft, has bounced back after a disappointing start to his NFL career to have back-to-back productive seasons with the Tennessee Titans in 2021 and the Panthers last year.

This past season, Foreman had 914 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns and had five games with over 100 rushing yards in the final 10 games.

However, he is now set to be a free agent and should have some interest from other teams. If the Carolina Panthers aren’t able to re-sign him, this would leave Chuba Hubbard and Raheem Blackshear, who was with the Buffalo Bills during training camp, as the only running backs under contract.

A veteran like Devin Singletary could give the position some experience and the Panthers could look to him be the starter or add a rookie to pair with Singletary.
