Trade Number 1

Considering Henry is on the final year of his contract, the Bills shouldn’t give up the farm to acquire him. He is freshly 29 years old as of January, and typically this is where you see running backs fall off in a big way. There is a ton of tread burned off his tires, as Henry has handled 1,750 carries over his career.

But, he’s turned those into four seasons over 1,000 yards, including his 2,027 yards back in 2020. Henry has been one of the most dominant running backs of the past decade, and would do wonders for the Bills’ offense. For starters, Buffalo could offer something like this.

At first glance, just a third-round pick in general would be a lot to pay for a running back. However, if it meant finding a missing piece for a Super Bowl run, then Buffalo should gladly pay that price. In this trade, the Bills send their third and sixth rounders to Tennessee in exchange for Henry and the Titans’ seventh-round pick in this year’s draft.

Giving up two picks and acquiring just a seventh in addition to Henry would likely mean the Bills would have to trade back from the first or second round in order to acquire additional capital, but that’s something Beane could address when the time comes.
