Free agent replacements for Buffalo Bills S Jordan Poyer: Adrian Amos
After beginning his career with the Chicago Bears, safety Adrian Almos crossed over the division and has spent the last four years with the Green Bay Packers. This last season, while the Packers weren’t very good, Amos enjoyed one of the best years of his entire career.
Amos tallied a career-high 102 total tackles at the safety position, which is the first time in eight years he has reached the 100-tackle mark.
Amos is a versatile safety who can play both spots if necessary, but he’s also an aggressive type that loves to play close to the line of scrimmage at times. In 2022, he totaled a career-high seven tackles for loss.
He also came up with five passes defended, a fumble recovery, an interception, two quarterback hits and a sack. He’s a player the Bills could even use in situational football when it comes to sending a blitz. He loves contact and has never shied away from it. Although he, too, has never been a Pro Bowl player, Amos has been a consistent veteran over the years and would provide a plug-and-play type for the Bills’ defense.
