Kris Richard

Kris Richard has been a long-time assistant and defensive coordinator beginning in 2010 as assistant defensive back coach with the Seattle Seahawks. During his time in Seattle, he would also be cornerback coach and defensive coordinator at different points and was defensive coordinator from 2015 to 2017.

He would spend two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys as defensive backs coach from 2018 to 2019 and most recently was with the New Orleans Saints in 2021 and 2022. This past season, Richard was co-defensive coordinator and the Saints had one of the best defenses in the league.

They would finish fifth in total yards allowed per game (314.8) and ninth in points allowed per game (20.3). He and the Saints elected to part ways after the season but he certainly could replace Frazier and help the Buffalo Bills maintain the performance they have had the past few seasons.
