The Buffalo Bills could be making a change at running back as Devin Singletary is set to be a free agent and likely could look to add a veteran to a position group that has James Cook and Nyheim Hines.

One running back that could be a good option is Rashaad Penny, who was a first round pick by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2018 NFL Draft. In the past two years, Penny has had eight rushing touchdowns and an average over six yards per rushing attempt, including leading the league in 2021 with an average of 6.3 yards.

The concern, and what makes this a risky move, is that Penny has struggled to stay healthy and prove to be a durable back. He has yet to play a full regular season in his NFL career and after playing 14 games as a rookie, he only played in 28 games over the last four years.

If Rashaad Penny is able to stay healthy and play a full season, he has a chance to be very productive but that is a very big question and the Buffalo Bills would be taking a risk by signing him as a free agent based on his injury history.
