Yannick Ngakoue

Yannick Ngakoue had a great start to his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars as he would have 37.5 sacks in the first four seasons in the NFL. However, during the 2020 offseason Ngakoue asked to be traded after the Jaguars used the franchise tag and it wouldn’t be until right before the start of the season that he got his wish as he would be traded to the Minnesota Vikings.

This would begin a trend of him not staying very long with one team as he would be traded by the Vikings a few months later during the 2020 season to the Baltimore Ravens. Ngakoue would then leave in free agency and sign with the Las Vegas Raiders but after one season be traded to the Indianapolis Colts.

It is surprising to see Yannick Ngakoue move around as much as he has because he has been productive pretty much everywhere he has gone with 10 sacks for the Raiders in 2021 and 9.5 last year with the Colts.

The defensive end position is an interesting one for the Buffalo Bills this offseason as they did sign Von Miller last offseason but he is working his way back from a torn ACL. After Miller’s injury, the pass rush really struggled and the front office may look to add more to the position which makes Yannick Ngakoue as a potential option.
