Young Players Poised to Make a Leap
There are plenty of young players that are ready to take steps forward in 2023. Khalil Shakir, the 4th-round rookie from Boise State, showed a lot of promise as the potential missing piece for the receiving corps.
Kaiir Elam did not have the best of Rookie seasons, but with another offseason and more experience under his belt, Elam is likely to take a step forward. The rookie flashed against the Dolphins in this year’s divisional, with 2 pass breakups and an interception. Let’s hope he carries that momentum into the 2023 season. Elam has the size and athletic profile to be an elite corner, and he could form a formidable duo with Tredavious White.
Greg Rosseau is entering his third year with the team. The Miami product was seen as a work in progress by many analysts. He had a solid second season, tallying eight sacks. If Rosseau can make a jump over the offseason and tap into his full potential, the Bills’ defensive line could be an elite unit.
