4 players who did not live up to the Buffalo Bills’ expectations in 2022

Tim Settle
The Buffalo Bills signed Tim Settle as a free agent this past offseason as part of their major overhaul at defensive tackle with him joining DaQuan Jones and Jordan Phillips as free agent additions.
Settle had spent four seasons with the Washington Commanders and was viewed as a high upside free agent addition. He had limited playing time with the Commanders due to the talent they had at the position but was productive when given the chance.
While Settle did get slightly more playing time with the Buffalo Bills this season, the production didn’t improve much. He finished the year with only 19 total tackles and one sack while playing only 38% of the snaps as he was passed on the depth chart by players like Jordan Phillips.
The Buffalo Bills are going to have to free up some cap space this offseason and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the team release Tim Settle, which would free up over $2.2 million in cap space according to Spotrac.
