Super Bowl LVII: Buffalo Bills vs. San Francisco 49ers

Here we are. Super Bowl LVII.

On the opposite side, the San Francisco 49ers have done the unthinkable. They have ridden the back of last year’s Mr. Irrelevant, seventh-round pick Brock Purdy. After watching Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo be lost for the season due to injury, the 49ers have supported Purdy every step of the way as he’s done more than they ever could have asked for in relief of the team’s top two passers.

Purdy and the offense aren’t short on playmakers, either. That trade for Christian McCaffrey was the difference, here. McCaffrey’s presence makes it that much more feasible for the 49ers to get the ball to guys like Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle, along with getting the All Pro running back out in space in a variety of ways.

Kyle Shanahan should absolutely be up there for Coach of the Year honors, but does he bring home the Lombardi?

Buffalo will have their hands full with the top defense in all of football, and Josh Allen will need the performance of his life for the Bills to end up hoisting the prize that night. Will he and Buffalo be able to get it done?
