2. Who wins the matchup between Stefon Diggs and Sauce Gardner?

If you’re neither a Jets nor Bills fan, it doesn’t matter, because this game features a high-profile matchup between two of the league’s best at their positions.

Stefon Diggs and Sauce Gardner will go at it once more this year, in the second of what should be plenty more battles down the line.

In their first matchup, both guys were able to do some good things. On Diggs’ end, he came up with five of his 10 targets for 93 yards. Diggs did not score, but the Jets also held Josh Allen to just over 200 yards passing. So, Diggs was still the primary guy and made up the majority of Allen’s passing yardage.

Gardner, meanwhile, was able to come up with an interception of Allen. So, while Diggs won his fair share of snaps, Gardner got an all-important takeaway.

So far this season, Gardner has been graded and viewed as arguably the top cornerback in all of football as a rookie. He’s in line to win Defensive Rookie of the Year, without question. But, Diggs is as savvy a wide receiver as Gardner will face all season long.

There is a strong argument to be made that the winner of this matchup will end up on the winning side of this game.
