The other player that will have to step up with Von Miller out is defensive end Greg Rousseau. The second-year defensive end had an excellent start to the season and already surpassed last year’s sack total with five on the year.

However, the Bills have been without Rousseau for the past three games after he suffered a high ankle sprain against the New York Jets. There is no question that his absence has been noticeable for the defensive line and his return will be a big boost for this group.

While it isn’t guaranteed that he will return against the Patriots, he did have a full practice on Monday and this is a step in the right direction.

In the end, it will likely have to be a group effort from all the defensive ends as they try to replace Von Miller this week but Greg Rousseau will be the player who needs to lead them against the New England Patriots.
