Shorten their rotation at the defensive end and move forward with four defensive ends

The first option is probably the most straight forward and that is for the Buffalo Bills to shorten their rotation at defensive end. The coaching staff likes to rotate frequently at the position and while Miller is their best pass rusher, the front office did a great job over the past few seasons of building quality depth with the addition of Shaq Lawson joining former draft picks Greg Rousseau, Boogie Basham and A.J. Epenesa.

The challenge for the Bills is that they have been dealing with injuries at the position outside of Von Miller. Greg Rousseau has missed the past three games due to an ankle injury and the player who replaced him, A.J. Epenesa, suffered an ankle injury against the Cleveland Browns and missed the game against the Detroit Lions.

If Rousseau and Epenesa are able to return for Thursday’s game against the New England Patriots, this will be the team’s four-player rotation and all four would see a bump in their snaps.
