Buffalo Bills finding balance with the production from Devin Singletary and James Cook
For most of the season, Josh Allen has been able to do it all for the Buffalo Bills offense up until late. Opposing defenses seemed to figure something out with this offense and with Allen struggling, the Bills were not very successful.
This was one of the big reasons the team needed more production from the run game because it would help keep opposing teams honest and have to account for something other than Josh Allen and the passing game.
The Bills got just that with not only Devin Singletary but also James Cook as these two combined for over 170 rushing yards on 29 carries. The coaching staff seemed to find a balance of Singletary being the running back to grind out yards while James Cook was the home run threat with an average of 7.8 yards per carry and a long of 29 yards.
If the team can continue to find this type of success on the ground, this is going to be a tremendous lift as the weather turns and it gets tougher to throw the ball in the closing weeks of the regular season.
