The Buffalo Bills get a key starter back on the defensive side of the ball for today’s game against the Cleveland Browns.

The Buffalo Bills are about 90 minutes away from playing football against the Cleveland Browns after a week that was unlike any this season. The team had a number of players who were sick to begin the week then on Thursday had the game moved from Buffalo to Detroit and had to cancel practice on Friday due to the snowstorm.

It didn’t get any easier on Saturday as the team tried to get all their players to the facility to even be able to fly out of Buffalo for today’s game.

However, they are now able to put all that adversity behind them and turn their attention to the Cleveland Browns. The good news for the Buffalo Bills is that they are getting a key player back on defense with Jordan Poyer active for today’s game.

Poyer has missed four games already this season, including last week, due to a variety of injuries. This should be a big boost for a secondary that has been short-handed basically all season.

However, one big absence this week is Tremaine Edmunds, who was ruled out Friday due to a groin injury. The team will likely start Tyrel Dodson in his place and he should be the full-time starter with A.J. Klein, who they claimed off waivers this week, inactive for today’s game

The Bills also ruled out defensive end Greg Rousseau and cornerback Tre’Davious White on Friday for this game. First round draft pick Kaiir Elam will be joining them as he continues to deal with an ankle injury. The team did call up veteran Xavier Rhodes as depth and will likely continue with Dane Jackson and Christian Benford as the starters.
