4 Buffalo Bills who stood out in Week 10 against the Minnesota Vikings
Ed Oliver
This season looked like it was going to be the breakout year for Ed Oliver that fans have been desperately waiting for since he was drafted in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He made some great plays early in Week 1 against the Rams but then suffered an ankle injury that cost him a number of games.
In the game against the Vikings, Ed Oliver looked once again like that dominant force on the interior of the defensive line. According to Next Gen Stats, Oliver now has the most QB pressures in a single game this season with 11 against the Vikings.
Oliver also had one of the key plays of the game when he was able to sack Kirk Cousins on 2nd and Goal from the five-yard line in overtime. That play pushed the Vikings back 10 yards and forced them to throw on third down which wasn’t completed.
The Buffalo Bills pass rush has been significantly improved this year but if Oliver can continue to play at this level, the defensive line is going to be almost unblockable.
