The final player that the Buffalo Bills are going to have to have a plan for is safety Harrison Smith. He is currently in his 11th season with Minnesota and is still playing at a Pro Bowl level.

Smith currently is tied for second in the league in interceptions with four, including one in each of the past three games. He also has 44 total tackles and six passes defended to begin the season.

Regardless of who is under center, the Buffalo Bills are going to have to account for Smith pre-snap before every play.

In the past two games, interceptions have been an issue for Josh Allen as he has four over that stretch. In a game where it likely will be close, turnovers could play a big factor in the outcome. If the Buffalo Bills can win the turnover battle, it will give them a great chance to move to 7-2 on the season and end the Minnesota Vikings’ win streak.
