Buffalo Bills X-Factor: Matt Milano

If Matt Milano is not the Defensive Player of the Year for the Buffalo Bills, he is definitely the team’s X-factor to start the year. This season, Milano has 37 total tackles, five tackles for a loss, two QB hits, and two interceptions, including a pick-six against the Tennessee Titans in Week 2.

The Buffalo Bills have a lot of stars on the defensive side of the ball and Milano’s impact sometimes goes overlooked. He is a versatile linebacker that allows the coaching staff to run the defense they do.

Milano is an athletic linebacker that does a good job dropping into coverage but also is an excellent tackler that makes plays either behind the line of scrimmage or in space. There has been a number of times already this season where an offense throws a ball out wide to a running back and Milano is right there to make the tackle and limit additional yards.
