The Buffalo Bills are roughly at the halfway point of the 2022 season and while they lost their last game, the first half of the season was rather successful. The Bills are in first place in the AFC and have a number of players near the top of the league in statistical categories.

It is time to recognize some of those performances with midseason awards.

MVP: Josh Allen

This one is pretty easy and shouldn’t be much of a surprise. Josh Allen is the team’s MVP and probably has a good chance to be the league MVP by the end of the year.

While Allen had a bad game against the New York Jets, when looking at the first eight games in total it has been an impressive start for the quarterback. He has 2,403 passing yards, 19 passing touchdowns, eight interceptions with 392 rushing yards, and four additional rushing touchdowns.

He has accounted for 23 of the Bills 25 offensive touchdowns this season. There has not been a more valuable player to this team and hopefully, Allen doesn’t miss any time due to the elbow injury he suffered at the end against the New York Jets.
