Devin Singletary

In three of the past four games, the coaching staff has leaned heavily on Devin Singletary with him playing 75% or more of the offensive snaps compared to not breaking that mark in any of the first three weeks.

The addition of Nyheim Hines will likely now cut into those snaps for Singletary and it wouldn’t be surprising to see Hines get a similar percentage of snaps that he was in Indianapolis. This season that percentage has typically fallen between 30-40% and I would expect the coaching staff tries to get him on the field for roughly the same amount of time.

This should also change Singletary’s role when on the field and it likely means his targets and receptions probably decrease. This season, he has averaged 4.2 targets per game and it wouldn’t be surprising for that average to drop now with Hines as part of this offense.
