3 players the Buffalo Bills must game plan for against the Packers
By Preston Seyl
The Bills defense must contain Aaron Jones
Aaron Jones is a swiss army knife out of the backfield with the multitude of things he presents for a defense to stop is concerning. Aaron Jones’ ability to run between the tackles with great vision and top speed on the perimeter will challenge the Bills’ speed setting the edge and beating him to the perimeter.
Aaron Jones has 432 rushing yards which is 13th in the NFL along with 5.5 yards a carry which ranks 10th. He is wildly impressive as the Packers have a two-back system with Aaron Jones and A.J Dillon. Not only is Aaron Jones a problem out of the backfield with impressive elusiveness and the ability to force missed tackles makes Jones a threat in the passing game.
With 26 receptions for 177 yards on the season, this doesn’t seem like a whole lot. However, he can produce with the ball in his hands out of the backfield or when lined up in the slot for angle or choice route concepts Aaron Jones is deadly for any linebacker to cover.
The Bills linebackers will be key in stopping Aaron Jones on the ground and when he lines up as a receiver.
