Buffalo Bills Trade Target: Rodney McLeod Jr.
If the Indianapolis Colts are going to be sellers at the deadline, they will be looking to trade veterans to add draft picks but also create extra playing time for their younger players to gain experience. This also will give the front office a chance to evaluate their roster looking ahead and past this season.
One player who could benefit from playing more is rookie Nick Cross but he is currently behind veteran Rodney McLeod. The Buffalo Bills would appear to have a need at safety and McLeod is an experienced safety that could fit in alongside Jordan Poyer and solidify the position.
McLeod had 123 career starts before this season with the Eagles and Rams while adding another five starts this season with the Colts. He has 29 total tackles, one interception and three passes defended.
The veteran safety is only under contract through the remainder of this season and of the three players, this would be the one that in my opinion would make the most sense for the Buffalo Bills.
4 safeties the Buffalo Bills could target before the trade deadline
The Buffalo Bills lost Micah Hyde for the season and these are four safeties they could consider trading for to help them this season.
