The Seattle Seahawks were a team that was expected to have a down year this season after trading Russell Wilson in the offseason and releasing linebacker Bobby Wagner. However, they have been surprisingly competitive with a 3-3 record entering Week 7.

It remains to be seen if they are going to be sellers or if they are going to make a push for a division title in a surprisingly weak NFC West. If they are sellers, one player that makes sense for Buffalo would be Quandre Diggs.

The Seahawks traded for Diggs during the 2019 season and he has been their starting safety since. He would then sign a contract extension this past offseason which would certainly complicate a potential trade.

Diggs has a cap hit of $5.8 million this year but that total jumps to over $15 million in each of the next two seasons, according to Spotrac. The Seahawks may also believe that Diggs is a part of their future plans past this season based on the contract extension.

There is no question that Diggs would be a great addition to this defense and significantly improve the secondary, but there may be too many roadblocks in the way to completing a deal.
