Jordan Poyer

Jordan Poyer has had an incredible start to the season with already four interceptions on the season, which is one short of his career high. However, the Bills’ safety has had to deal with more than his fair share of injuries.

The former All-Pro would suffer an elbow injury during training camp that cost him the entire preseason. He would return for the first two games of the season before a foot injury kept him out of the game against the Miami Dolphins in Week 3.

Poyer would only miss that game and returned for the game against the Baltimore Ravens, where he had two interceptions, but then have to sit out Week 5 against the Pittsburgh Steelers due to a rib injury. He returned to practice and entered Week 6 with no injury designation.

The thought was that he was past that injury but after the game against the Chiefs it was reported he had to drive from Buffalo to Kansas City as he was not cleared to fly. Now a week with no football may be just enough time for a reset and hopefully, the Bills safety can put these lingering injuries behind him.
