Jordan Phillips

Jordan Phillips returned to the Buffalo Bills this offseason as a free agent after he was released by the Arizona Cardinals. The veteran defensive tackle got off to a great start with 1.5 sacks and 4 QB hits in his first two games.

However, Phillips would suffer a hamstring injury at the end of Week 2 against the Tennessee Titans. That injury forced him to miss Week 3 and Week 4 before he returned against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5.

While Phillips has played the past two games the hamstring injury has appeared to linger as he has been limited in practice every day during that stretch.

The first two games showed the type of impact Jordan Phillips can have with this defense and hopefully the bye week will give him time to rest and move past the hamstring injury. If he can do that, this defensive line is going to be even better than they have shown over the past few weeks.
