Von Miller lives up to his contract with the Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills needed to improve their pass rush after their struggles to pressure Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs last year. They put a premium on the position by signing Von Miller to a major free agent contract this offseason.
These were the games that the Bills signed Miller for and on Sunday he certainly delivered with two sacks and seemingly was living in the Chiefs’ backfield. On the interception by Taron Johnson, he won’t have anything that shows up in the box score but his pressure on Patrick Mahomes helped force him into that throw.
In addition to Miller’s sacks, he also has a presence on the defense that seems to help other players along the defensive line. The Bills finished the game with three sacks total and nine QB hits as players like Ed Oliver, Jordan Phillips and Shaq Lawson were able to pressure the Chiefs’ quarterback.
