Bold Prediction #2: Buffalo Bills light up Kansas City’s secondary

In last year’s AFC Divisional Round game, receiver Gabe Davis had a field day. He hauled in eight passes for 201 yards, and a playoff record with four receiving touchdowns against a healthier Kansas City defensive backfield. In Week 6, the Chiefs are expected to be without key pieces in their secondary.

Their final injury report illustrates just how much its secondary is hurting. Cornerback Rashad Fenton was ruled out due to a hamstring injury. Safety Bryan Cook is in concussion protocol. And Chris Lamons and safety Justin Reid are dealing with hip and hand injuries, respectively.

Buffalo’s offense has scored the second most points in the league, behind only Kansas City. However, the Bills have called off the dogs in many of its games this season; preventing them from leading the league, as they have proven more than capable of doing.

Buffalo’s receiving corps is tops in the league. And a beat-up secondary isn’t going to be enough to prevent Josh Allen from lighting up Kansas City’s defensive backfield.
