Bills defensive ends vs. Andrew Wylie

The Buffalo Bills are going to want to get pressure on Patrick Mahomes. They struggled to do this in last year’s playoff game and was one of the big reasons they went out and signed Von Miller as a free agent.

This year, the Bills have done a better job rushing the passer as Miller and Greg Rousseau both have four sacks to begin the season. The defense in total has 13 sacks, which ranks seventh in the NFL.

Patrick Mahomes has not been sacked much this year, and in fact he has only eight sacks on the season. However, this is probably due more to his ability to scramble and move in the pocket than an endorsement for the offensive line.

On the season, Mahomes has been pressured on over 25% of his dropbacks and has been pressured the seventh most in the league, according to Pro Football Reference.

If there is one particular spot I believe the Buffalo Bills should take advantage is on the right side against tackle Andrew Wylie. I would expect the coaching staff to rotate Von Miller and Greg Rousseau on that side in hopes of consistently challenging Wyle and hopefully generating some sacks this week.
