Buffalo Bill’s defense must neutralize Najee Harris

Najee Harris is one of the premier running backs in the NFL with a unique skill set due to his combination of great size and speed. Najee is a problem in the run game as he can run between the tackles and get on the premier of the defense in a hurry, but he also is a dual threat that factors in both the run and pass game.

Kenny Pickett will look for Najee as his safety valve, as he can make something out of nothing with the ball in his hands. Leslie Frazier and Sean McDermott must take away the run game and put the ball in Kenny Pickett’s hand to beat them. While Harris will play a significant role in the passing game, stopping the run and forcing the Steelers to pass will put the Buffalo Bills in the most advantageous place to capitalize on a rookie QB making his first start with a shaky at best offensive line.

If the Bills can neutralize Najee in the run game, Kenny Pickett will have time in the pocket and take those shots off the play-action game.
