Even though the Steelers have gotten off to a slow start with a record of 1-3, they present a stiff test for the Buffalo Bills. Their first-round rookie QB will be making his debut Sunday, with many unknowns gameplan-wise with minimal tape to reach a consensus on his strengths and weaknesses.

The Pittsburgh Steelers under Mike Tomlin have always been tough; they are well-coached and prepared each week, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Mike Tomlin will be without All-Pro T.J. Watt against the Bills. Still, I expect a great game plan from one of the best defensive minds with the help of Brian Flores, who is also on the staff.

The Buffalo Bills have an excellent opportunity to gain momentum before heading into Arrowhead Stadium for an AFC Divisional Round rematch with the Chiefs. With a rookie QB making his first start, the wounded Bills defense should confuse Pickett in their pre-snap and post-snap coverage movements. The Buffalo Bills will need an excellent performance against the offensive buzzsaw of the Chiefs that starts by building confidence with a dominating performance against the Steelers.

The Steelers are no slouch on the offensive side of the ball, with a plethora of weapons on the outside and an elite running back. The Buffalo Bills’ defense must be prepared for a heavy run, setting up the pass to get their rookie QB comfortable in his first game as a starter.

The Steelers’ defense has a lot of weapons of their own in Minkah Fitzpatrick, Cameron Heyward, Devin Bush, Myles Jack, and Larry Ogunjobi makes for a solid reason. Ken Dorsey must have a great gamelan to neutralize the defensive line from disrupting Josh Allen in the pocket, and the offense must be on their P’s and Q’s against this well-coached defense.

With that being said, here are three players the Buffalo Bills must have a great game plan against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
