Buffalo Bills dealing with more injuries on defense

The Buffalo Bills defense has been one of the best in the NFL and has been able to achieve those results while dealing with more than their fair share of injuries. The Bills haven’t had cornerback Tre’Davious White all season and have had the following players miss at least one so far this season:

  • Ed Oliver
  • Jordan Phillips
  • Micah Hyde
  • Jordan Poyer
  • Dane Jackson
  • Christian Benford

While some of these players have returned (Poyer and Jackson) some are out for the remainder of the year (Hyde). The hope is that the Buffalo Bills will have other players return this week, most notably Ed Oliver and Jordan Phillips who were limited in practice on Wednesday.

However, a new player popped up on the injury report this week and is worth watching on the practice reports is linebacker Tremaine Edmunds. The team’s starting linebacker is dealing with a hamstring injury and didn’t practice on Wednesday.
