Another option for the Buffalo Bills is wide receiver Tavon Austin, who is currently a member of the team’s practice squad. The former first round pick was signed in June and was looking good when on the field but unfortunately dealt with some injuries that limited his availability.

The Buffalo Bills brought Austin back after he was among the rounds of roster cuts as part of the practice squad. He now could have a chance to be moved to the active roster as he could potentially step into both roles that Crowder was playing.

Last year with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Austin had 24 receptions for 213 receiving yards and one touchdown. He also has 190 career punt returns but hasn’t returned punts recently with only five total punt returns since 2020.
