Gabe Davis, Dane Jackson active; Ed Oliver inactive for the Buffalo Bills
Who is in and who is out for the Buffalo Bills in Week 4 against the Baltimore Ravens?
The Buffalo Bills got some positive news on Sunday morning on the injury front as the team had a number of players who are active for today’s game that was questionable earlier in the week.
This group includes wide receiver Gabe Davis, tight end Dawson Knox and center Mitch Morse. In addition to that, Ryan Bates also will play today after being in the concussion protocol this week. He was able to practice in full on Friday and didn’t have an injury designation heading into this game.
On the defensive side of the ball, cornerback Dane Jackson is set to return after missing one game. He suffered a scary neck injury in Week 2 against the Tennessee Titans and it is certainly great to see him return this week against the Baltimore Ravens.
The Buffalo Bills also will have starting safety Jordan Poyer back this week after he was out against the Miami Dolphins due to a foot injury. He likely will be starting next to Jaquan Johnson but it wouldn’t be surprising to see Damar Hamlin rotated in this week.
However, the Bills will once again be without defensive tackle Ed Oliver. He suffered an ankle injury against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 1 and hasn’t been able to return yet. The Bills called up defensive tackle Prince Emili to help at the position as Jordan Phillips will also miss this game after being ruled out on Friday due to a hamstring injury.
The two other players who were ruled out on Friday were wide receiver Jake Kumerow and cornerback Christian Benford. The team will now likely look to rookies Khalil Shakir and Kaiir Elam to step into their place this week against the Ravens.
