The addition of Xavier Rhodes would be a great move for the Buffalo Bills for these three reasons

The Buffalo Bills are dealing with a number of injuries and unfortunately, it seems concentrated in a few positions. One of those positions is at cornerback as the year has gone along. It began early as the team entered the season without Tre’Davious White as he recovers from his ACL injury last year.

The impact of White’s absence hasn’t been as great as expected and that was due to the excellent play of Dane Jackson, Christian Benford, and Kaiir Elam. However, in consecutive weeks the team has lost two of those players to injuries as Jackson suffered a neck injury in Week 2 against the Tennessee Titans and then Benford suffered a fractured hand on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.

With White unable to return until Week 5 at the earliest, it is not a surprise that the Buffalo Bills have looked at potentially adding free agents. It was reported on Tuesday by NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo that Xavier Rhodes was being brought in for a visit and this could be a great move to help the defense not only over the next few weeks until they get some players back but through the remainder of the season.

These are some of the top reasons this move makes perfect sense for Buffalo.
