Jaquiski Tartt

If the Buffalo Bills want a younger safety but one that still has starting experience then former San Francisco 49ers’ safety Jaquiski Tartt could be an option. He was a second round pick by the 49ers in 2015 and has played seven seasons with San Francisco.

During that time, he has 64 career starts with 367 total tackles, four sacks, and four interceptions. Tartt also has some special teams experience but not nearly as much as the other players on this list with only 673 career snaps and last year played only 12% of the 49ers’ special teams snaps.

There are two concerns that the Buffalo Bills would need to address if they wanted to bring in Jaquiski Tartt. The first is durability as Tartt has struggled to stay healthy and has never played a full regular season. However, this past season he did have his most career starts at 14.

The other concern is that Tartt is more of a strong safety so if he were to push for a starting spot, he doesn’t seem like a good matchup alongside Jordan Poyer. Both players would bring somewhat of a similar skill set and that may not be ideal for the coaching staff.
