The Buffalo Bills didn’t get the win but the game wouldn’t have been nearly as competitive if it wasn’t for the performance of these five players. These were the standouts in Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins.
5 Buffalo Bills who stood out in Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins
Josh Allen
Josh Allen couldn’t lead a comeback in the fourth quarter to help the Buffalo Bills grab their third win of the season but honestly, it wouldn’t have even been close if Allen wasn’t under center for Buffalo.
He finished the game with a career-high in pass attempts with 63, which is a franchise record, and only seven off the NFL record. That was set by Drew Bledsoe back in 1994. Allen would also throw for 400 passing yards, which is only his third career game with 400 or more yards. He would add 47 rushing yards and had two passing touchdowns.
It was far from a perfect game for Allen, and there will be certain plays and situations he will go back and try to improve, but as long as he is on the field the Buffalo Bills can remain competitive even with a long list of starters out.
