Buffalo Bills will be tested in their first AFC East divisional matchup of the season

Every NFL team at some point of the season is going to have their depth tested at different positions. However, for the Buffalo Bills, they didn’t expect that to happen all in one week.

After an incredible start to the season where the Buffalo Bills out-scored the Los Angeles Rams and Tennessee Titans 72-17, they are now going to be seriously tested against the Miami Dolphins in Week 3.

The Bills are going to be shorthanded particularly on the defensive side of the ball with Micah Hyde (who was later placed on injured reserve), Dane Jackson, Ed Oliver, and Jordan Phillips all ruled out for this game.

In addition to that, it was reported that Jordan Poyer also would miss this game and the Bills’ secondary is going to be very inexperienced with starting cornerbacks Christian Benford and Kaiir Elam, two rookies, and starting safeties Damar Hamlin and Jaquan Johnson.

The good news is that all hope is not lost but the Bills will need one of those awe-inspiring games from their franchise quarterback Josh Allen. He has had an excellent start to the year but will need to take it to another level to keep the Bills in a game that is looking more and more likely to be a high-scoring matchup.

The Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins are set to play at 1 PM on Sunday in an early season matchup to give one of these undefeated teams an early edge in the race for the AFC East division title this season.
