Use the RPO game against these linebackers

With the Dolphins dialing up a lot of man coverage, this could be the time for the Bills to get the Run-Pass Option (RPO) game going and use Josh Allen’s physical gifts. The presence of an Allen run should be enough to freeze the linebackers and allow pass-catching options to work open over the middle of the field. If the Dolphins defenders follow the receivers in man coverage, it should open up some massive rushing lanes for Josh Allen.

Both Dolphins linebackers Jerome Baker and Elandon Roberts have given up a 100% completion rate when targeted this season, so forcing them to think on their feet and defend multiple things at once should give the Bills’ offense a distinct advantage.

In a game where they are undermanned, the Bills must put the ball into the hands of their best player as much as possible. By presenting a heavy RPO attack, you allow Josh Allen a chance to decide where the ball is going on every play. Letting Allen control the game against the Dolphins has worked in the past, as he is 7-1 with 25 total touchdowns against Miami in his career.
