The final player is one that surprisingly has had a bigger role than many would have expected. Reggie Gilliam has primarily made the Buffalo Bills roster for his play on special teams the past few seasons but under offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, he has seen a significant increase in snaps.

Against the Tennessee Titans, Reggie Gilliam scored the team’s first touchdown of the game and earlier this week, Ken Dorsey was asked about Gilliam.

While Reggie Gilliam is unlikely to have more than a handful of touches per game, he is a big part of what the offense does. He also could help in an area the team has seemingly struggled in to start the year which is on the ground.

The Buffalo Bills run game hasn’t been overly impressive to start the year and if the Bills call more runs with Reggie Gilliam leading the way, it could open up bigger holes for players like Devin Singletary and James Cook.

The fullback is a position that hasn’t had a big role in Buffalo for a few years now but Reggie Gilliam can give this side of the ball a different dimension that can create some versatility in the play calling for Dorsey.
