Buffalo Bills Free Agent Target: Matt Paradis

Another question on the offensive side of the ball was who is the backup to Mitch Morse at center. Unfortunately, the Bills had to find out what it would be like without Morse as he suffered an elbow injury early against the Tennessee Titans.

While he was able to return, when he was out the team had Greg Van Roten at the position. During that time, the offense didn’t look as good and there were a few snaps that were bobbled by Josh Allen.

It would make sense for the Buffalo Bills to want to add some more experience behind Morse and a player like Matt Paradis could be the answer.

Matt Paradis has started 98 games over his seven-year career with the first four being with the Denver Broncos and the last three years as a member of the Carolina Panthers. The biggest concern with Paradis is that he is coming off a torn ACL injury that he suffered at the beginning of November.

These injuries take a long time to recover from, as evident by Tre’Davious White’s absence to start the year. However, this is about the time players do start to return so if Paradis is recovered, or close to being recovered, it would make sense for the Buffalo Bills to consider signing him as a backup plan if Morse is forced to miss time later in the season.
