Buffalo Bills Free Agent Target: T.Y. Hilton

Another veteran wide receiver free agent the Buffalo Bills may want to consider is T.Y. Hilton, who spent 10 years with the Indianapolis Colts. At 32 years old, he is towards the end of his career but as a backup veteran wide receiver, he could be a perfect fit for this offense.

Hilton, similar to Will Fuller, is an excellent deep threat and has a career average of 15.4 yards per reception. He made the Pro Bowl four times (2014-2017) and even led the league in receiving yards in 2016.

One of the concerns, the same with Fuller, would be injuries as Hilton hasn’t played a full season since 2017 and over the past three seasons has missed 14 games. This past season Hilton had a career-low in most receiving categories with only 23 receptions, 331 receiving yards, and only three touchdowns.

The question the Buffalo Bills will need to answer was whether this was due to his age or the fact that he had Carson Wentz throwing him the ball, who struggled in his only year in Indianapolis.
