Similar to Week 1, the game on Monday night was close for most of the first half but the Buffalo Bills added a touchdown late to take a 10-point lead into halftime. It was in the second half, particularly the third quarter, that the Bills took the game over and would score 24 points to secure their second blowout win.

In Week 2, the Buffalo Bills were shorthanded with starters on both sides of the ball missing due to injuries to Gabe Davis and Ed Oliver. However, it didn’t seem to matter all that much as these five players had huge games to help the team beat the Tennessee Titans.

Stefon Diggs

Stefon Diggs is the clear number one wide receiver in this offense but with as many playmakers in this offense, the stat lines don’t always reflect the impact he has for the Buffalo Bills. However, that was not the case on Monday night as Diggs saw a majority of the targets and finished with 12 receptions, 148 yards, and three touchdowns.

This was Diggs’ second straight game with 100 receiving yards and he is only the second Bills’ wide receiver to start a season with two straight games over 100 yards. The other wide receiver was Andre Reed, who accomplished it in 1991.

The Buffalo Bills certainly will be happy to have Gabe Davis back once he is recovered from his ankle injury but as long as they have Stefon Diggs, the passing game is in good hands.
