Unlike the snap counts for the Buffalo Bills against the Los Angeles Rams, this week against the Tennessee Titans, they weren’t so straightforward. The Bills had a few players who were ruled out before the start of the game and saw additional players leave due to injuries during the course of the game.

The other challenge when looking through the snap counts this week is the fact that the Buffalo Bills started to remove starters near the end of the third quarter with the game already well out of reach.

With that said, these are some notable takeaways for the Buffalo Bills in Week 2.

Jake Kumerow gets the start in place of Gabe Davis

The Buffalo Bills ruled out Gabe Davis for Week 2 after he suffered an ankle injury in practice over the weekend. The Bills seemed like they didn’t have a clear replacement entering the game but after the game, it is evident that Jake Kumerow is that player.

Kumerow would get the start and play 53 snaps (78%) which were the most of any of the wide receivers this week. He finished the game with two receptions for 50 yards, including an impressive 39-yard catch down the sideline.
