Mistakes by Buffalo kept the game too close in the first half

The Buffalo Bills started the game off great as they marched right down the field and ended it with a Josh Allen touchdown pass to Gabe Davis. The Bills’ defense would force the Rams to punt and the Bills’ offense once again was moving the ball well.

However, mistakes started to pile up in the first half and started when Josh Allen threw a pass to Isaiah McKenzie that was pulled out of his hands by Terrell Lewis for the first turnover of the game. The Bills would have two more turnovers, one fumble by James Cook and an interception by Josh Allen at the end of the first half.

They also would see Tyler Bass kick the ball out of bounds on a kickoff that gave Los Angeles a great starting field position.

In total, the Bills had four turnovers and the fact they won by as much as they did is surprising when considering the high number of turnovers. This was an issue during the preseason and is absolutely something they need to correct soon.
