6 Buffalo Bills on defense to watch in Week 1 against the LA Rams

The outside cornerback position is one that could be the deciding factor in the outcome of this game. The Bills will have Dane Jackson on one side but on the other will look to rookies Kaiir Elam and Christian Benford.
On Monday, defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier said that both players could see snaps against the Los Angeles Rams. Head coach Sean McDermott followed that comment up on Tuesday by stating that the team hasn’t decided yet who will be the starter, according to ESPN’s Alaina Getzenberg.

Regardless of who is on the field, it would make sense for Sean McVay to come up with a game plan that tests the side of the field that has the rookie cornerback lined up. Both Elam and Benford likely will see a lot of Cooper Kupp but also Allen Robinson, who the Rams signed as a free agent this offseason.
It will be a big test for these rookies in their first career NFL regular season game.
