The Buffalo Bills will sweep the AFC East

Other than the New England Patriots, no team has won the division for three straight years since the Bills did it from 1988 to 1991. And the last time a team, other than the Bills, swept the division was when the Patriots did it in 2012.

The Bills are in a different class than the other teams in the East. In the past two seasons, Buffalo has only lost one game in the division; the one being at home in a wind storm to New England. But this season, it doesn’t appear any of its competition has what it takes to dethrone them as reigning champs.

The Miami Dolphins have upgraded their offense and improved on defense. But their success hinges on the performance of its third-year quarterback. The Dolphins will only go as far as Tua Tagovailoa is capable of taking them. And he’s no match for who the Bills field at the same position.

The rest of the division doesn’t have a roster that is up to snuff with Buffalo’s. This presents a challenge for teams in the AFC East attempting to take claim to the top spot. And if they can’t, the Buffalo Bills should be on their way to sweeping the division for the second time in three seasons.
