4 free agents the Buffalo Bills could sign after roster cuts
The Buffalo Bills made a number of cuts to get their roster down to 53 players on Tuesday and there is no question that this is one of the best rosters the team has had in franchise history.
There are going to be some moves that the team is definitely going to have to make, like at punter since the Bills don’t have one currently on the roster, but there are also some free agents that could help improve the overall depth and talent.
What free agents still available could the Buffalo Bills sign before the regular season?
Brett Kern
The Buffalo Bills released Matt Araiza on Saturday and will need to sign a new punter over the next few days. Fortunately for Buffalo, there were a few good players at the position that were recently released.
One of those players is Brett Kern, who has been a longtime punter for the Tennessee Titans. He had made the Pro Bowl three straight years from 2017 to 2019 and during those years, he averaged over 47 yards per punt but that average has dropped the past two years to just over 45 yards.
This is not overly surprising for a punter who has been in the league for over 15 years but is something that the Buffalo Bills will need to take into account.
