Cam Lewis
On the defensive side of the ball, it was just an all-around tough night for Cam Lewis, who is probably on the roster bubble and needed a good game against the Carolina Panthers to secure a roster spot.
Lewis would be forced to leave the game early due to a nose injury and had to get an x-ray.
However, prior to that Lewis was struggling in coverage and Baker Mayfield a couple of times made big plays when targeting him on throws. As Matt Parrino noted, Lewis also missed some tackles and the ability to be good tacklers in space is something that the coaching staff looks for in their cornerbacks.

Cam Lewis has been with the team for a few seasons now, primarily as a member of their practice squad. The team will likely take into account his full body of work when evaluating his spot on the roster but this one preseason game may be the deciding factor between making the 53-man roster and another year on the practice squad.
