Case Keenum

It has been a rollercoaster of a preseason for Case Keenum as he began against the Indianapolis Colts with a three-turnover game before bouncing back and putting together an impressive stat line of 16 for 18 for 192 yards and a touchdown.

However, against the Carolina Panthers, it was another down game as he completed only eight of 13 passes for 46 yards with one interception. Once again it is important to note that a majority of the night Keenum was going up against the Panthers starting defense while he was primarily with a group of backups around him.

It certainly wasn’t all bad and Keenum did help lead the team on a 19-play drive, that unfortunately didn’t result in points. On that drive, though he completed two fourth down conversions with passes to Isaiah Hodgins.

However, it is clear that if the Bills are going to be successful if Case Keenum needs to play any time that they are going to need more from the players around the quarterback than they might with Josh Allen under center.
